In the LiveConnect platform, members can vote (thumbs up/down or 5 star rating) for any Posts or Comments that they can view. Voting can be used across the entire community to bring the most popular content to the forefront, or can be used in particular Applications for more specific purposes. For example, a software company might  maintain a "requested features" Application where their customers suggest and then vote on potential future features. By sorting the content based upon the vote tallies, a product manager can view the most requested and popular feature requests.
